It’s not often that most modern day brewers get the chance to brew a barleywine, but heading into our second full winter, we figured we might as well send it! Drawing flavors from choice UK malt and from heightened maillard’s reactions from the extended boil, this beer expresses bold notes of toffee, golden brown toast (hold the butter), dried montmorency cherries, and Tawny Porto.
